About me

I am a Japanologist with a passion for Japanese eating culture. Studying  Haiku poetry in Japan for four years, I got to know the people and the food first hand. In Switzerland, I have worked in a Sushi restaurant, learning from a Japanese master Chef. I got fascinated by Zürich’s multicultural environment and the eagerness of people to get in touch with other culinary traditions. I want to take this chance to also introduce the cuisine of my motherland, Uzbekistan. Born at the heart of the ancient Silk Road, Uzbek cuisine is a unique mix of culinary influences  from countries like China, India, or Persia.
